Lint has completed end to end thru hikes of the Ice Age Trail, Appalachian Trail (thrice), Pacific Crest Trail (thrice), Continental Divide Trail (twice) Arizona and Colorado Trails. Many more hikes are being planned, since he cannot find anything better to do with his time other than walk thousands of miles across this continent. While definitely not a traditional athlete, his average daily mileage hovers between 30 and 40, depending on how many times he gets distracted by a particularly interesting view or shady spot to rest. Lint is affectionately known as ‘hiker trash’ in the world of long distance backpacking, and if you ever meet him he’ll probably be hungry and in need of a bath.
2015 Schedule (where you’ll see Lint):
Continental Divide Trail thru hike for a third time. I watch weather patterns to decide what trail is optimal each year, so nothing is determined until the spring. I’ll also be shuffling along at various ultra marathons, since I’ve recently caught the running bug and enjoy sampling the buffet food presented at aid stations.
