Personal Blog:

Marine biologist by day, world traveler by night, Ann runs to inject sanity into her life. Most of her mile are logged early in the morning before the rest of Washington awakens and she heads off to save our oceans. Ann grew up in the water, began competing at the age of 5, and continued to swim competitively through college. Whilst living in Australia, her squad sparked an interest in open ocean racing and it wasn’t long before the allure of triathlon forced her onto land. To date, Ann has competed in relays, 1/2 marathons, marathons, and triathlons. Her next big adventure: her third half IM at Eaglemen 70.3 and her first IM in the fall. What is Ann’s favorite piece of running advice? “Run quietly, play nicely”
